It also answers the phone at 9pm.

Nights, Sundays, and the twenty minutes when the desk is with a client and the line is ringing. It takes the booking, puts it in the book, and sends the confirmation. You find out in the morning.

What it actually says

A real call, redacted.

What matters here is not a demo script — it's what the assistant actually says on a live call.

Caller

Hi, is this <salon>? I want to book a haircut for tomorrow evening if possible.

Assistant

Yes, this is <salon>'s booking line. I can help with that — do you have a stylist you usually see, or should I check who's free?

Caller

Anyone's fine, around 6pm.

Assistant

I have 6:00 with Anjali or 6:30 with Meera tomorrow — both do haircuts. Which would you prefer?

This transcript slot is a build placeholder. Per SKSALON-WEB-001 §5.2, the published version must be a real inbound booking call, redacted — not written by a copywriter — and SK Voice production debugging must be confirmed demo-ready first (gate G6). Do not publish scripted dialogue here as if it were a real call.
The honest version

What it can do, what it can't, and what happens either way.

Language handling

Tamil, Hindi and English, and it switches to whichever the caller speaks — not a menu, a live judgment call on the first few words. For a Tamil Nadu salon this is a qualifying question before it's a feature.

The failure path

When it can't handle a call — an unusual request, a bad line, a caller who wants to speak to a person — it escalates: takes a voicemail, or offers a callback, and it's in your morning summary either way. We say this plainly because every buyer assumes it happens and will ask.

The boundary

After-hours and overflow — never a replacement for the front desk. That's the honest position, and it's also what the unit economics require: a full receptionist-load of minutes would produce a bill you didn't expect. See the pricing page for included minutes per plan.

Compliance

DND-registered and blocked numbers are respected on outbound; every call states it's being recorded and why, with consent logged. Outbound calling to Indian consumers invites this question immediately, so it's answered here rather than in a support ticket.

See what it does when a stylist calls in sick.

The after-hours story is half of it. The other half is outbound — rebooking a whole morning while you have your coffee.
